Past: Drawing at St James's Park

Our next Drawing Escapes meet up will be at St James’s Park on Saturday 1st August.
So pack a sketchbook, a blanket and maybe even a picnic and come along to this summer edition of a regular drawing event.
Join Martyn Blundell and me for a few hours of relaxed drawing, followed by a drink and a discussion of the day’s work. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
We’ll meet at 1:30pm outside the St James’s Café on the side nearest the water (pictured, alongside a map).
We’ll spend the afternoon drawing in the area surrounding the Café, with a view overlooking the lakes and landscapes full of trees and flowers. There are some public benches but seating can be limited, so we advise you bring something to sit on (or draw the view from the café - which is the plan if the weather is adverse!)
We’ll regroup around 4pm back at the café for a drink and a discussion of our drawings.
